A llison is a Blythewood, South Carolina native and illustrator who is always looking for new challenges—artistic and otherwise. A longtime artist and painter, Allison chose the Illustration program at Winthrop to try her hand at a new branch of art and has enjoyed the creative journey. Allison loves working in a variety of media and finding new ways to achieve her artistic goals. When she is not drawing them, she enjoys working with horses and teaching equestrians in her hometown. After graduating, she plans to apply to graduate school for Medical Illustration, blending her love of biology, medicine, and drawing.
